Throughout the Pandemic my general health has been negatively impacted despite our successful efforts to remain COVID free. The general public being masked has helped to keep the number of infections to a minimum, which I am grateful for as even a cold or sinus infection has become a battle.

Due to Lymphoma like signs and symptoms, abdominal pain and cardiovascular complications my medical team determined the best course of action was to resume IV Anti Fungal therapy. Thanks to the teamwork of my physicians and the comination of medications and treatments we have been able to regain some of the lost ground. Overall I am beginning to feel what consistently seems to be my new normal. My biweekly IVIG infusions are continuing and going smoothly once again. A special thanks to everyone who donates blood and blood products that make receiving IVIG for the immune compromised possible! I'm blessed to have been able to continue with at home hyperbaric chamber and oxygen therapy treatments throughout the pandemic without a worry of infection.

Unfortunately we have finally worn out the compressor for my portable hyperbaric chamber. Additionally, as many of you know, some of my medical treatments, medications, transportation, and costs of maintaining life are not covered by insurance and resources of family and friends are once again running extremely low. We are in the process of reactivating my gofundme page and have opened a Venmo: Jen-Liese in the meantime. Please pass this along to anyone and everyone you can!

Kai continues to be the teammate you all know and love him to be! He not only helps me with tasks and provides endless smiles, but he now provides a welcome buffer of space from those who are unmasked.
