Andrew T. Karl

I finished my Ph.D. in statistics from Arizona State University in 2012.  My undergraduate work was in mathematics at the University of Notre Dame. I am currently working for Adsurgo LLC, and am also working as a contractor developing computational routines for National Science Fountation Grant 1336027.

My research interests include computation of non-nested linear and generalized linear mixed models, the impact of nonignorable missing data, and applications to value-added modeling of teacher effectiveness. I have also done some work with the ranking of sports teams and parallel random number generation. Preprints of my articles are available from arXiv, and the final, journal-formatted editions are linked in my CV.
