CREATIVE THINKING & WRITING
Students were asked to write about their own paintings.
ELI
THE ANIMAL
I was on my way to get groceries and on the way I saw
a garage sale. There was one painting that I really liked.
It looked like there was a prehistoric shell with lots of nice
colors. Also a animal with a shell for a head. Also a person
with a circular hand with a blue shirt. Also a window under
water. Also a sharp scorpion tail with light and dark colors.
Also a big sharp tooth. Also a ball with spikes. Also a long
blue and pink leg. Also a slug and sea shell.
LEIA
THE STOLEN ART WORK
I was on my way to an art show but when I got there I saw
the other paintings and I thought they were better than mine
so I left and came back the next day. So I looked at the paintings
again and I thought mine was better than the paintings this time.
I liked mine because it had a dragon in it, a Hebrew letter in it, a
letter G and a dinosaur but then I went to the bathroom. When I
came back it was gone. Someone stole it.
WIRING AND SIGNING
Students were shown how to wire and sign back of painting.
Wiring consists of: 2 screws, 2 d ring hangers, wire and screw driver.
Signing consists of: When painting is completed, on back, a signature and info
about materials used, along with size and date documents info about painting.
Both students horizontally wired and signed the back of their own paintings.
Leia also wired her painting vertically to be shown 2 ways.
