Holly Freireich LMT, COTA

Holly comes to An Athlete’s Edge as a massage therapist after 30 years as an occupational therapy assistant and a health and wellness coach.

Holly wanted to expand her skill base to help people heal and move more freely, giving them options above the medical realm . Although massage was used in the therapy arena, Holly knew there was a large percentage of people who would benefit from more skilled massage techniques, so she returned to school and graduated in 2014 from Harrisburg Area Community College where she concentrated on injury recovery and sports massage. Since graduating she has continued to further her education concentrating on orthopedic/sports massage.

Holly has had the opportunity to work with many professional athlete's from football, baseball and soccer teams; professional weight lifters and body builders; as well as runners and Olympians. She has also worked with many pre/post surgical clients and chronic pain suffers and all types of injuries.

Holly has continued her education in sports massage, NMT of foot and ankle, arm and hand, kinesio-taping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.
