Short biography

My mathematical career began in Chennai Mathematical Institute, India, where I was an undergraduate student and got interested in the abstraction that is Mathematics.

At the end of my undergraduate studies, I visited École Normale Supérieure, Paris as a visiting student under the CMI-ENS Exchange Program.

After this, I joined Northeastern University, Boston for my graduate studies. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the Northeastern University in May 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Marc Levine.

I was a postdoctoral fellow for two years at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia, after which, I was at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. I also spent 4 months at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai as a Postdoctoral Visiting Scientist, before joining Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) Mohali as a DST-INSPIRE Faculty at the Department of Mathematical Sciences until February 2017. Apart from research, I have also taught undergraduate and graduate courses. Currently, I live in Germany.
