-  Ph. D. Positions: 

We are always on the lookout for good Ph. D. candidates. 

To work with us for your Ph. D, you need to be our M. S or M. Sc, or dual Degree, or Ph. D student at IITK. Admissions to our Master's program are done annually, while our department conducts our Ph. D selections twice a year (in May and in December). 


Research Interests 

All aspects of "Quantum transport and theory". More specifically, 

1) Quantum geometry induced novel transport and optical properties of Quantum materials 

2) Density functional theory based exploration of new 2D,  topological materials, and magnetic materials 

3) Plasmons, and charge density wave in quantum materials 

4) Nanoscale device modelling
