Chuck Schroeder - 8th season
Coach Schroeder has spent nearly his entire life as an Auburn resident. He attended Auburn High School where he played baseball and golf. Coach Schroeder spent his first year in high school as a pitcher/outfielder. The final two years he became a full-time outfielder and leadoff hitter. He graduated from Auburn high school in 1986.
Coach Schroeder attended Pacific Lutheran University where he played baseball. Schroeder graduated from PLU in 1990 with a Degree in Business (Human Resource Management). Schroeder worked retail for a few months after graduating before pursuing his dream of helping the great people of the state of Washington through enforcing the laws of the state. He has been a Trooper with the Washington State Patrol for 23+ years and has spent all of them in the south King County area.
Coach Schroeder started his most recent coaching venture as a volunteer assistant at Rainier Middle School. He assisted “The Wizard”, Paul Furth, at the 7th grade level for two years. Schroeder moved up to Mountainview six years ago as the junior varsity assist under “Mr. Incredible”, Ryan Dunham. This is coach Schroeder’s third year as a varsity assistant working directly under “The Master”, Pat O’Conner and “God”, Coach Walker.
Schroeder has been married to his awesome wife Kathy for 25 years. Kathy has been a Registered Nurse at Tacoma General Hospital for 27 years. They have two incredible kids that the baseball program knows quite well. Courtney is the oldest that graduated in 2012. She has spent three years as a manager in the program. She now attends Oregon State University. Morgan is the tall one that graduated in 2014. She spent four years as a manager in the program. She is now pondering her vast opportunities in the “real world.”
