Remembering one of my favorites flamenco artist

I remembered the first day that I started my show in 1982; I started my show playing Paco de Lucia music. I was always very impressed about his music and I could play with music for hours.

Now is very hard for me to believe that one of the greatest guitarists in the world Paco de Lucia has died on February 25, 2014 of heart attack while on vacation in Mexico at the age of 66. Throughout all these years of doing my show, I have done numerous special shows about Paco de Lucia because I love his music and I have a large audience that loves flamenco music in the Bay Area.

One of my favorite song is “Entre dos Aguas” (between Two Waters) from 1973. I will always have a special place in my heart for Paco de Lucia; his music to me is a breath of fresh air.
