ALA Cristina – Presenting U.K Spanish guitarist and Composer Mark Barnwell

Few weeks ago I had the opportunity to introduce in the ALA Cristina Show the Nuevo Flamenco magical instrumental 5^th album Mandala of Mark Barnwell, he is a guitarist and composer from the U.K., In this album Mark was joined by some of the finest Nuevo Flamenco guitarists including the Incendio band with Jim Stubblefield, Lisa Carbe and Jean-Pierre Durand and UK Guitarist Al Marconi.

When I was preparing my playlist for my show I was so excited about the flow of his music, I enjoyed every piece. The first song of the CD is one of my favorites Tierra del Fuego (Land of Fire), maybe some other time I’ll ask him why the he name his first song Tierra del Fuego, maybe he has a message behind it.
