Showcase Video
- I created this video during my first student teaching placement in the fall of 2018. This video demonstrates and explains several of the teaching strategies I used during my 9 weeks teaching in a 5th grade class.
Novice Teaching Website
- This Website was created in order to document my semester-long novice placement during the spring of 2018. On this website I have links to my weekly reflections, a paper I wrote on the school culture and the lesson plans that I taught and reflected on.
Blog
- I created this blog during my Technology in Education course at Trinity Christian College. This blog is comprised of my reflections of various technological tools and strategies that we learned about and tried throughout the course.
Stupeflix Introduction
- This introduction utilizing Stupeflix demonstrates my ability to use various technological tools. In this video, I introduce myself and describe some of my favorite things utilizing the tool and showcasing what the tool is able to do.
Digital Story
- This digital story was created to show how teachers can utilize videos to teach their students rather than teach through the traditional lecture style. In this video, I discuss the history of my hometown while adding technology such as music, pictures and sound effects to make it more engaging for students.
Evernote Screencast
- In this screencast, I show other teachers to tool Evernote and explain how it could be useful when teaching.
SMARTBoard Lesson on Shapes for First Grade
- This video showcases me teaching a SMARTboard lesson for 1st graders using a lesson plan that I designed and created. All of the activities were made by me and I implemented this lesson to my peers.
Flip Lesson on Money and Google Forms Quiz
- This flip lesson on money shows again how students can use technology and videos to learn rather than the traditional style. Students would watch this video, created by me, at home and come to class the next day prepared to discuss or work on activities relating to the activity. The accompanying quiz would be taken once the in-class activities were completed in order to assess their learning.
