Silver Jubilee Celebration

The Silver Jubilee of JNVK was Celebrated on 7 January 2012 in a grand way. The event was a grand success. Few of the activities during the event are described below.

Alumni Meet and AGM of Ankur participated by more than 500 alumni and their family members. Several resolutions were passed during the AGM.

Felicitation of teachers 30 teachers who had served at JNVK earlier were  invited and felicitated along with the existing teachers. It was a heart touching moment to see overwhelming emotions on the faces of teachers and the old pupils.

Blood Donation Camp was organised where around 60 alumni and teachers donated blood.

Ankur Vidyarthi Sahaya Nidhi

It is a fact that after XII standard, every year a number of deserving alumni of the Vidyalaya opt out of professional courses and institutes of high repute due to lack of financial support. Many of us would have undergone such a stage during our life too. Ankur can certainly contribute to ensure that its young members pursue the courses they dream and deserve.

A special fund has been constituted to provide financial help to deserving and needy young alumni for higher studies. The amount contributed towards this will be accounted separately and used exclusively for the purpose. Contributions to the fund are open and we need volunteers to come up and do so. May I urge everyone among us to come forward and be a part of it.

The beneficiaries for this year are young alumni Miss Uma and Miss Shashirekha. Both have been extended a support of Rs. 15000 each for pursuing Engineering.

Help to Alumni

There was a tremendous response to the call for helping Miss Rekha Vasudev an alumnus of our Vidyalaya recovering from a near fatal accident. We could gather an amount of Rs. 20,500.00 in a very short time. Miss Rekha and her father Mr Vasudev Valmiki were deeply moved and were very thankful for this noble gesture. Well done everyone, may we continue this good work in future.....

Ankur Awards for Achievers 

Awards have been constituted by Mr Kashinath Pawar of 1st Batch in the Memory of his Mother. Every year, cash prizes of Rs. 2000 and Rs.1000 will  be awarded to toppers in  X and XII std CBSE Exams respectively.

A new page has been added to Alumni Ankur site for Ankur Activities and schemes. The page would have facility to obtain opinion of other members on proposals.
