Directors' Duties

President

Serves as chief executive officer and general manager related to supervision, direction and control of the Alpine Club’s business affairs. Also presides over all meetings of the members and board of directors.

Vice-President

Performs duties under the direction of the president in the management of the Alpine Club. In the event of the disability or resignation of the president, exercises the duties of the president until the next board of directors elections are held.

Secretary

Maintains official minutes of all general membership and board of directors meetings and signs all documents authorized to be signed by the secretary.

Treasurer

Receives, maintains and disburses all funds of the Alpine Club and all securities. Collects signatures required on all checks, transfers or withdrawals of funds from the Alpine Club’s checking, savings or securities accounts.
