Boys JV Post Another Win

The JV boys came out on top of West Forsyth 2-1 Thursday nite. West Forsyth jumped out to an early lead 1-0 about one minute into the game on a early defensive mental lapse. 20 minutes later Bryan Candeleria ripped the back of the net on a nice back pass from Nathan Mulder to knot the game 1-1. The midfield came together after halftime and began pressuring WF creating scoring after scoring opportunity. Finally all the work paid off with Sammy Hakim striking a laser shot from 35 yards out and burning the WF keeper for what turned out to be the winning goal. WF turned up the intensity the last 15 minutes of the game but the Raiders met the challenge to keep WF out of the goal. Final 2-1 Raiders. The JV boys now sport a 3-1 record. Next game is Monday 2-27 at home vs. Lambert at 7:30. Come out and cheer them on.
