Pi Kappa Alpha has been on LSU’s campus for 118 straight years, the longest of any fraternity at LSU!

The Alpha Gamma chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, known as PIKE, is one of the country's most storied fraternity chapter of Students, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen responsible for bringing our beloved Mike the Tiger to campus and for which he is named after Brother Mike “Chellis” Chamber and the keepers of the Greek System torch for the distinguished honor of being the longest uninterrupted chapter on LSU’s world renowned picturesque campus for the last 118 consecutive years.

During the school year, we participate in numerous social and philanthropic events. We exchange with numerous LSU sororites, have bus trips, host an annual crawfish boil and other house parties, and of course tailgate for both home and away LSU football games.

Joining Pi Kappa Alpha, you will become one of more than the 300,000 initiates in one of the largest college fraternities which will develop your personal leadership skills, provide a way to become involved in the campus community, and add a positive experience to your education. Along the way, you will make lifetime friends and build a support network that will positively impact your future personal and profession career.
