Baz Warne from The Stranglers, with his "BazBucker"..
A few words for Graeme Mennie..."I love Graeme's pickups...they've got character, warmth, and plenty of guts, but they still retain that essential twang that I need in my Telecasters...they remind me very much of the old original Fender single coils, but with extra clout...lovely...I'm getting his pickups put into all my stage Teles from now on...He's also a very nice chap...with that kind of mild mannered eccentricity and boffin-ness you need in the guys you entrust your babies to...you go to his house and he lays your guitar on an old ironing board in his conservatory to work on it...I love that"Baz W10 March 2016
Update on Baz Warne in February 2017 I sent a new prototype neck pickup to Baz (Basically it is a mini version of the BazBucker). The first one I sent, which was an over wound Tele neck pickup with AlNiCo V magnets, in Dec 2016 was a bit too thin for him as he wanted more punch and a bit more middle, guts as he called it). I then received word in March that he was blown away with the latest "Mini BazBucker" Tele neck pickup, I sent and would also like these fitted into all his guitars. I better get winding I suppose.As from April 2017 Baz now uses the "Mini BazBucker" and the "BazBucker" in all his stage Telecasters.
Here are some local musicians that also use Allt Dubh pickups in their guitars - Nev Gall, George Norval, Liam Creedon (endorsee), Robbie Garden, Mathew Norval, Michael MacDonald, Chris Hay, Andrew Hall, Lewis Walker, Lewis Toet, Adrian Twelftree, Scott Anderson, Graeme Mennie, Drew Smith, Ollie Rennie, John Anderson, Jake Kinghorn.
