Allt Dubh is the name for pickups made by Kinellar Guitar Studios, based in Blackburn, just outside Aberdeen, Scotland.Although we have been winding the odd pickup here and there for the last 30 years or so. It wasn't until 2015 that we started to try and replicate the pickups of the 50's, 60's and 70's. Taking that highly sought after sound we then added a few quirks to compliment the playing styles of the modern guitarist.Local musicians of all genres (country, pop, blues, rock etc.) use and are delighted with the sounds the pickups produce. Our most famous user and now an endorsee is Baz Warne from "The Stranglers".
