The organization
All Tai Ahom Students' Union (ATASU) is a students' organization of Tai-Ahom people in Assam, India founded in July 1988. Amrit Kumar Chetia, Promod Baruah, Puspadhar Saikia and Arun Gogoi were the Chief Adviser, President, Executive President and General Secretary of the Founder Committee respectively. Dimbeswar Gogoi, the Founder Organizing Secretary was brutally murdered on 3 November 1989.
THE LOGO: The actual LOGO of the organization is of octagonal double lined shape having the Flying Dragon in the middle of a circle and above it the Organization name is written in Tai language, whereas the same is written in English below the Flying Dragon.
