Funding & Awards

My doctoral research was funded by MITACS, by the Philosophy Department and by the Faculty of Humanities of the Université du Québec à Montréal, by the Canadian Research Chair in Theory of Knowledge, by the Quebec Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport, and by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), in Brazil.

In 2021-2022, I was a MITACS doctoral fellow working on corporate social responsibility at Le Collaboratoire, in Montreal.

I received a fellowship to pursue the Diploma Programme in Manuscript Studies, offered by the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, in Toronto, in conjunction with the American Academy, in Rome. The funding was offered through a Mellon Foundation grant.

The organisation "Fillosophie", which I foundedand ran  with 4 other graduate students (2013-2017) in the philosophy department at UQAM, whose aim was to encourage women* undergraduates and grad students to pursue their studies in philosophy, was a finalist (runner-up) of the Forces Avenir competition (province-wide university program) in 2017. It won the first prize the following year. Fillosophie was also awarded the prize for best project in the category "society, communication and education" at Université du Québec à Montréal for the year 2013-2014. The project received grants from the Canadian Journal of Philosophy for the years 2016 and 2017.

I have also received awards for "encouragement of academic perseverance" from the UQAM Centre for Welcome and Socioeconomic Services.

My M.A. in Ethics & Society was funded by a Presidential Scholarship provided by Fordham University's Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
