Algonquin PTO is excited to host an Ice Cream Social for the entire student body on Friday April 28th, 2023. We are in need of volunteers to make this fun event a success for our students. Junior and Senior Post Prom Volunteer Sign Ups
We need many hands to help on the day of the two parties. Sophomore and Freshmen parents are encouraged to please consider helping and find out what it’s all about.
Volunteers are needed to:
Distribute tickets during lunch periods the week of the prom
Set-up at New England Sports Center 10:00pm to 11:30pm
Check in students at Algonquin 11:30pm to 12:45am
Chaperone Junior PPP 12 am to 5am (no junior parents)
Chaperone Senior PPP 12 am to 5am (no senior parents)
2 Volunteers to pick up food donations from various establishments and drop-off at NESC
2 Volunteers needed: EACH REPRESENTING THE JUNIOR & SENIOR CLASS
Help us coordinate the supplemental food for the Junior & Senior post prom party. Sue Distler, who has been chairing this event for many years, will meet with the volunteers to help them know which restaurants and businesses have provided food donations in the past. Volunteers will need to reach out to 5 or 6 local restaurants and businesses, enquire about food donations (possibly for 2 post prom parties). They would also have to source and coordinate volunteers to pick up the donations of food on the night of the post prom party.
