Heia Norge! Welcome to Norway, one of earth's paradises (2004)
Karmoy is known as the Holy Island by my Norwegian friends.
The rumor is true: Norway was the home of the infamous Vikings. You can see that some Norwegians are still practicing their craft (a Viking camp in Karmoy).
Mud roofs are ecologically sound structures. Do you like to mow the roof?
The camp site at the base of the Pulpit Rock in Norway.
Sheep are let loose on the mountains in the summer and are picked back up in the fall. Norwegians are a very trusting people.
The reward of climbing the Pulpit Rock is to stand on its edge and look down.
The view from down below is not too shabby neither.
It is worth taking a boat trip through the gorges in Norway.
There are not many people living in Norway. Haugesund was the most crowded city that I had seen while I was there.
Brussels can be quite colorful when it is decorated by fresh flowers.
I once thought that Hong Kong was the most crowded city in the world. Brussels corrected my thinking.
Amsterdam can be a very romantic city. There are plenty of water front walkways along hundreds of canals.
The newly weds celebrate their wedding on a canal in Amsterdam.
Tourists converge on the crowded streets of Amsterdam. The coffee there must be really good because there are plenty of coffee shops everywhere.
Despite of all the carnal distractions in Amsterdam, Vogel Park is one of my favorite places to visit.
