About Me

My name is Alexis Leger and I am enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College. I previously taken the Dental Assisting course at Algonquin College and graduated in 2018. I then went on to work for a year in a periodontal practice in Kingston Ontario. I shortly discovered that although I do love the dental field, I wanted to be more involved in my job. I will be graduating from the Dental Hygiene program in 2022. On my own time, I enjoy the outdoors and trying new things such as food, and activities.

My short term-goals while I am in school is to focus on schoolwork and do the absolute best I can in clinical and theory.

My life-long goal would be to take everything I have learned during school and apply it to my everyday care, including proper client care and sterilization techniques. I always want to be my best to all my clients and to never cut corners in my work.
