My research area is in Graph Theory. In my doctoral dissertation, I focused on investigating a variation of graceful colorings in graphs as well as introducing concepts that relate graph colorings and connection in graphs. Below is the abstract for my dissertation, as well as my research statement, which describes in detail these and other areas of research with which I am involved.
If you are interested in collaborating with me, please contact me at abyers@ysu.edu. I am especially interested in collaborating with undergraduate and graduate students at YSU. Graph Theory is very accessible and fun, even for those with little background in the field.
If you are a math or stats undergraduate student in the first or second year of your education, consider applying for the upcoming REU: YSU-BUMP. I will be advising a project in graph theory in the summer of 2022. See this website for more information.
