This class can be taken for high-school credit therefore, students and parents need to be open-minded to the natural, "oh my goodness, this is difficult!" reaction to the new ideas taught in this course. Math is difficult. But it is beautiful and logical!
The best advice I have for you is to:
ask questions if you are confused
spend time to read your notes and textbook thoroughly
use your class time wisely
schedule tutoring time offered. You are NOT alone!
be organized! Every day, for every assignment.
The algebraic foundations learned in this course are necessary to progress into Geometry.
