Alan C. Dube is an Air Force veteran who served as a communications specialist in support of USAFE and NATO at Ramstein AFB in Germany, and NORAD and the Space Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado, during the latter years of the Cold War.
Alan has earned an A.A.S. in Communications Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, a B.S. in Computer Information Systems (magna cum laude) from Bryant University, and a M.B.A. from Providence College. An avid hockey fan, traveler, and historian, Alan is employed as a senior database analyst and part-time software/IT instructor. He's taught a variety of courses at Northeastern University, Bryant University, and in the Adult Education program for Maine RSU # 6.
Alan is a member of the American Legion and the American Sons of Normandy, and is the author of “A Navy Soldier on Omaha Beach,” a personal account of his father’s experiences and participation in World War II and the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France.
