Certifications

If you do not have a current BLS and ACLS certification, residents will be required to complete/renew these courses by June 30, 2023.  Unfortunately, these initial costs are not covered by the residency program; however, renewals and additional certifications will taken care of. 

Please make sure that your courses are designated through the American Heart Association (AHA).

During orientation, you will complete the following certification courses:

• NRP

**We will be doing ATLS Certification during Block 7 before the arctic wilderness medicine retreat.
