It's not pining, it's passed on. This parrot is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies. Its metabolic processes are now history! He's off the twig! He's kicked the bucket, he's shuffled off his mortal coil, rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible! This is an ex-parrot!

Dragon fly or Damselfly? Both insect in the Order Odonata.

Dragonflies are strong fliers with fairly robust bodies and at rest hold their wings either out to the side or out and downward.
Damselflies tend to be less robust, even rather weak appearing in flight, and when at rest most species hold their wings folded back over the abdomen
Dragonfly eyes occupy much of the animal's head, touching (or nearly touching) each other across the face. In Damselflies, there is typically a gap between the eyes.
