QUALIFICATIONS
An extensive business and engineering education combined with my background in teaching and law provides me with a unique set of talents for many types of work. Over a period of 22 years I worked in Corporate Communications departments and produced corporate film and videos as an independent producer. I worked directly with top management at Holland America Line and the Boeing Company crafting high quality media productions for projects as diverse as World Cruise promotions for Holland America Line to company history and leadership training for the Boeing Company. As an independent producer I produced an Emmy nominated documentary on the history of aviation in the US for the centennial of the Wright Brothers first flight that was picked up by PBS and is still aired nationwide today — “Pioneers In Aviation”.

2014-Today Senior Tax Advisor, H&R Block
As a Senior Tax Advisor I have given tax advice and prepared complex tax returns for individuals and businesses. My expertise includes multi state, Sole Proprietorship, Corporate, Trust and Non Profit returns.
2014-Today Instructor-Tax Training (Bilingual), H&R Block
Each fall I conduct training classes for new hires and experienced Tax Professionals wishing to advance their certification. Co-instructed two English/Spanish bilingual classes for new tax students.
1990-2012 Producer of Films and Videos, Aiolos Productions, Ltd.
For 22 years I produced and directed Drama, Documentary, and Corporate Film and Video in the Puget Sound Area. Notable PBS production: “Pioneers In Aviation”, nominated for an Emmy in 2002. Major clients included Holland America Line and the Boeing Company.
In 2012 an event was hosted by Boeing and the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. honoring “Pioneers In Aviation” and its re-release in HD on PBS.

For 8 years I sold residential and commercial real estate in the Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area. My client interaction and support skills were refined through extensive training.
1996–2000 Computer Support, King County DOT
Four years of working for the King County Dept. of Transportation as a LAN manager providing IT support to hundreds of clients in a large network environment of 11,000 plus installed computers with mixed operating systems; Windows, Mac, Unix and Novell.
1991–1996 Producer, Corporate Communications, Holland America Line
For five years I worked under the Vice President of Marketing for Holland America Cruise Line producing marketing videos and programs promoting products and itineraries for Holland America and Grayline of Alaska.
1985-1990 Vice President and Legal Counsel, Concrete Placement, Inc.
Five years as Legal Counsel for a nationwide construction services firm. I was responsible for the coordination of all litigation involving the corporation. I drafted and reviewed all contracts. Negotiated union and labor agreements. Maintained corporate records. Filed liens, collected debts, and enforced contract terms. I traveled extensively around the country in response to problems that arose such as accidents, recovering company property and resolving client and vendor disputes.
