The Aikido Association of America is proud to announce a seminar with Rick Gendo Testa Sensei (Shoshinkan Dojo), James Nakayama Sensei (Chushinkan Dojo), & Tatsuo Toyoda Sensei (Tenshinkan Dojo), hosted by Tenshinkan Dojo in Chicago. Training is open to students of any martial art or rank, from any organization or dojo.

Rick Gendo Testa Sensei is the Chief Instructor (Dojo-cho) of Shoshinkan Dojo and Eastern Region Director. He became an ordained Rinzai Zen priest under Genjo Osho of Dai Bai Zan Cho Zen Ji of Seattle Washington.

James Nakayama Sensei is the Western Region Shibucho (branch leader). He is ranked nanadan (7th degree black belt) in aikido and godan (5th degree black belt) in Iaido. He is Dojo-cho of Chushinkan Dojo in California.

Stephen Tatsuo Toyoda, the current President and son of Aikido Association of America founder Fumio Toyoda Shihan and has been uchideshi under Y. Kobayashi Soshihan in Tokorozawa, Japan. Mr. Toyoda is the Dojo-cho of Tenshinkan Dojo in Chicago, Illinois and has taught extensively throughout the United States and world.

Aikido of Hales Corners is happy to announce Tim Spies Sensei, 4th Dan, as the first guest instructor to teach an evening friendship seminar at their dojo on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 7:30pm. Spies Sensei is the founder of Aikido Resolutions Foundation Cut the Cancer Program and is the dojo-cho at Ryoshinkan Dojo in Arlington Heights, IL. There is no cost to attend but donations are welcome.

Aikido Friendship Seminar - March 4, 2017

Aikido of Wales is proud to welcome Matt Fluty Sensei for a three-day seminar. Join us May 11th, 12th, and 13th for an investigation into the teachings from the Kumano Juku Dojo in Shingu, Japan. If you have enjoyed Mitsuo Tasaka Sensei's annual seminars, take advantage of this opportunity to touch upon similar themes. Fluty Sensei employs effective martial technique coupled with an emphasis on Aikido's ability to polish our spirits. Hope to see you on the mat!
