About me
My name is Ahmad Alshorman, I was born and raised in an educated family in the north of Jordan. My parent have made a difference in my life. I graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in June 2009 with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics, after two years I finished my master from the same school in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics in June 2011. Now I am a PhD Candidate at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Tx, USA. I have started my PhD from Aug-2011. And I am working under the supervision of Prof. Y. Hurmuzlu on Systems lab .
I am Interested in Robotics, Locomotion,Control, Multi-body Dynamics (Modeling and Simulation), Bio-Medical Devices and MEMS, Applications of shape memory alloy material (SMA), Nonlinear Control of Smart Materials, Complaint Mechanism.
