|Online Databases & Search Engines|
Always make our online databases your main information gathering tool. Once you look through all of the provided resources there and those listed above, use Mahalo where the searches are human researched and Ask.com which gives you a variety of media resources. Tekmom is a directory of student friendly search engines so check it out. You also will find videos online but you will need to be very careful about the topic covered and who created them. As always when searching on the Web, be careful that inappropriate content might show up.

|Promotional Videos|
Watch these to get an idea of what a promotional video looks like. Remember to think of questions as you analyze what the director is trying to do. Really critique them as some are better than others. Find what works and doesn’t so that you can create your own. Remember to include examples of your nation’s culture especially the visual (sculpture, painting) and performing (dance, acting) arts!
