DTU undercover patrol is trying to disguise oneself fully as a civilian
- DTU must announce that they are a police officer when making an arrest while having something that can verify them as a police officer
- Must be given permission by an insp+ or DTU command member
- Must have at least 5 cops on
- Must use civilian cars
- Must use new ts3 ID
- Only Senior Detectives and above may go undercover.
- Senior Detectives and above may involve themselves within the drug trade and expose themselves to criminal elements, under no circumstance are the detectives allowed to assist in creation or sale of drugs.
- Whilst undercover you may be required to protect information in regards to your undercover operation, if and only if someone has motive and the correct ties to expose your operation you may deal with them quietly with approval from a detective sergeant and above.
- While gathering information some subjects will withhold information which requires advanced interrogation techniques. If a normal civilian with no ties to the drug trade somehow become able to expose your operation you are to take their name and threaten them with a 40month sentence.
- Whilst undercover you are to act as a civilian, you are not above the law, any cop baiting will be taken as an infraction and the detective will recieve a warning for this.
- Can kidnap high ranking members of criminal crime syndicates and once all information is extracted the hostage must be handed over to GD.
- Once undercover detectives cannot act as police officers unless your life is in danger, etc do not respond to minor crimes. Detectives do not have any authority over GD cops while undercover.
