A Family of Parts / Standard Parts using the Sketch Function /Parameters is created with a Generic Base Template Part by switching On / Off features for different parts and modifying the feature parameters from Excel spreadsheet.
Design calculations / trade-off studies for various Associative Assembly configurations (with Wave Link option) can be performed with Sketch / Feature parameters exported into Excel. CAD data can be converted from various formats IGES, DXF to support incoming and outgoing CAD data and also for importing and exporting to Teamcenter database.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T) per ANSI Y14.5 is also added using the Smart Models option. (GD&T from the Solid Model is Associative to that shown on the Drawing).

Spring is modeled as Deformable Solids in Associative Assembly Model with Design Constraints & Assembly Mating / Alignment conditions.
As the Spring variables pitch and number of turns are varied the plunger moves.
