The Composite Applications are based on Classical Laminate Plate Theory (CLPT) and not based on Percentage Method.
Percentage Method of Laminate Layers makes the Structure heavier.
The Composite Applications calculates the Equivalent Stiffness (Properties) for the Composites, which most FAA DERs / ODA are interested in.
