Action Learning Group Project
This website presents the Action Learning Group Project 12 step process.
Action learning group projects are a great way to get your whole class/group engaged in environmental or social issues. This website scaffolds you (the teacher/instructor) through a 12 step action learning group process.
How you choose to practise living is a reflection of how much you respect your environments.
"Every cent you spend is a vote for the kind of environment you want" Anonymous
The process was initially designed to support pre-service teachers to embody the experience of action learning, group work, and to provide them with access to a useful pedagogical strategy to use to engage their future students. The process has been developed, augmented, and adapted and is now presented to you as a website containing descriptions and activities that scaffold the 12 Step Action Learning Group Project process.
This website is available for use (in part or in full) in any educational setting. If adapting activities please use the original acknowledgments. This workbook was developed from an excellent resource "Learning for a Sustainable Future – Engaging Students in Sustainable Action Projects" available from the Learning for Sustainable Futures website at http://r4r.ca/en/resource_register?doc_id=3
