Eligibility to apply to perform at the ACB Convention in 2020
- The band must have been an organizational member in 2018 and 2019
- The band must pay their membership dues in 2020
Performance opportunities
There will be member band performances in the Ballroom at the Founders Inn on:
- Wednesday, March 18, evening
- Thursday, March 19 evening
- Friday, March 20 evening
- Saturday, March 21 afternoon
Each concert will be 45 minutes including playing and announcing. Standard percussion equipment will be provided for each performer.
Application Process - A completed application form.
- 40-60 minute CD of selections from performances within the last year. No DVD’s please.
- Bio of the band
- Bio of the conductor
- Photo of the band suitable for promotional materials.
- Photo of the conductor suitable for promotional materials.
- Sample programs from your last two seasons.
- Other materials you wish to submit in support of your application.

After the selection of featured bands, we will provide the additional information needed for percussion, travel and performance in Virginia Beach. A negotiated hotel rate is available if accommodations are needed.
