I am pursuing PhD program in Environment Engineering at Memorial University (MUN), St. John's, NL. His current research focuses on the management of fly ash generated in the industrial furnace, and development of low cost natural adsorbent for treatment of industrial wastewater and flue gas steam.

I have excellent background on environmental modeling, management, decision analysis, risk assessment, environmental impact assessment, waste management, ambient air quality monitoring, modeling and management. I am expertise on offshore produced water management including control, treatment, reuse and database development. I have developed a fuzzy based decision making modeling for offshore produced water management in his M. Engineering thesis.

I have received my M.Engr. (in Civil) degree from MUN , and bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Rajshahi University of Engineering Technology (RUET), Bangladesh . Prior to join Memorial University he worked at several engineering companies and at a government position in Bangladesh.

In Memorial, I am working with renewed researchers in different research projects, leading to more than 20 refereed conference/journal papers and several project reports.

My research interests cover a wide range of areas in fuzzy based environmental decision modeling, human and ecological risk assessment and management, environmental impact assessment, waste management, ambient air quality monitoring, modeling and management, environmental management of offshore produced water including control, treatment and reuse.
