Help with research

CSUF Students

If you are interested in (i) working with me as a research assistant (undergraduates) and/or (ii) being mentored by me as you conduct independent research (undergraduate or graduate students), I encourage you to contact me about setting up an appointment at

The primary criteria I'll be looking at when deciding whether to work with you are:

-Desire for rigorous training in evolutionary approaches to the study of human psychology and behavior.

-Basic literacy in research methods (likely deriving from completion of coursework typical for science and social science majors).

-Evidence of your ability to be accountable in relation to your commitments.

-GPA: No hard criterion, but a GPA below 3.3 would require some discussion and explanation.

-A schedule of availability that is compatible with the lab's current needs (depending on the specific capacity of the proposed affiliation).
