Communications Director

Responsibilities

All Executive Committee officers are required to:

1. participate in meetings of the LSG and of the Executive Committee;

2. promote LSG membership, events and activities;

3. contribute to the LSG's social media presence;

4. maintain content on the LSG website that is relevant to their office; and

5. recruit nominees for office.

Terms of office are two years.  Nominees must be in good standing with the AAG and the LSG at the time voting begins. A nominee must have been an LSG member for at least six of the previous 12 months before their nomination for office.

The Communications Director is responsible for:

1. recording minutes of each meeting of the Executive Committee;

2. overseeing the LSG website by providing content as relevant and ensuring Executive Committee members maintain their sections; and

3. overseeing communication with LSG membership.
