April 3, 2011
This month, we celebrate the second anniversary of Y.E.S. 93.3 醉心龙虎榜 FanPage on Facebook. With more content, more features were introduced over the course of the past year.
Info tab has been revised several times, following the structural changes of the webpage given by Facebook. The most obvious change was early this year, where it is now neater and easier to read it. 弦歌寄意 details are much more easy to read. The way you can vote for your Top 20 songs is also specified under the Info tab.
Commentaries are also archived on the Google Spreadsheet. The use of such technology streamlines the process of writing a new Note with the new week's Pop Charts. Another new feature is having reminders of upcoming events, which are reflected in Google Calendar. It is now relocated to the Info tab. Probably the biggest new feature is the tabulation of the Most Welcomed Singer / Song of the Year. Now, you can check if your favourite song is still number 1 as the end of the year approaches when the Most Popular Song is announced.
In September, our Music Player changed to Baidu, but was scraped altogether after 4 tries last month when redirection of links failed. Having a Music Player has never been very successful, but the Youtube playlist should suffice.
In December and January, we have carried our beta tests of "CD album price check", "Copy Official 专辑介绍", and "Live Reporter". These give a hint of what is to come in the future, when the required manpower is reached too.
Last year also marked a major milestone as we became affiliates with Music Corner. As usual, we welcome Fan Clubs to become our affiliates.
That being said, it comes with the support of you. There were a new record of 51 likes on 祝第16届新加坡金曲奖顺利举行!and 50 on Hebe the autograph session. 15 Dec is the day that Passed 7000 fans Daily Post Views (5600) which is more than Monthly active users by 1.5X (3400)!
The future, in my spare time, I hope that Year 3 will provide greater interaction between you and me. Quite a few ideas are already on the drawing board. And it has always been my wish to implement them as soon as possible.
Cheers to a better Year 3 and beyond!
