April 4, 2010
I'm extremely happy this week because 1 April is the anniversary of this Y.E.S. 93.3 醉心龙虎榜 fanpage on Facebook.
Around March, last year, I got the idea of joining a fanpage about Y.E.S. 93.3 醉心龙虎, but there were no such thing. (The official Y.E.S. 93.3 FM made their own fanpage this January.) Hence, I decided to create it. It was almost the end of March when the beta testing phase was launched. There was initially a dilemma on whether to choose a group or a fanpage, but I settled on the latter after reading what each option offers and deciding this option fits the purpose better.
The spreadsheet came to life even before the official start of this fanpage on April 1 2009. More ideas and features poured in and most were introduced successfully. The main features were the Commentary, Youtube Playlist, and Event Calendar on Google. One feature that was unsuccessful was the Album Reviews and Singer's News. It was the lack of facilities on my part, and I was sorry to see it go. But it gave more time for the expansion of Commentary to include my predictions, and Album Reviews were shifted here, though the frequency dropped.
Along the way, I did some additional, (which some of you may think as redundant) but I would say it adds a certain value to this fanpage. 口号 was a memorable time for me, as it was not easy trying to catch what the deejays were saying. But the end product - which made the fanpage fit in better with the cause - made it worthwhile, like a carpet I would have bought for my home. My house will become more homely.
An additional feature is the higher quality songs I picked for 试听. This is in response to the better quality of videos and audio consumed by consumers nowadays. The latest 弦歌寄意 is not another branch which I would like to develop, at least not presently, but it had value-added the fanpage.
Throughout this year, my belief is to go with what consumers (you) would prefer, and try to fulfill your wishes. The necessary things went in place first, like 试听 and the spreadsheet archives.
I tried working with some of my friends but it was hard to find the strong intensity of commitment. I do have more ideas to make the fanpage more "lively" by trying to find people to go to events. But the latest job recruitment scheme did not work. That disappointed me the most, but I am comforted by the fact, that some of you rely on this fanpage for information, and many others correct me immediately when I made a mistake. Above all, I am very touched by some of you who "like" my post immediately it went live. It gives my reassurance that there are people out there who support me every second of the day.
I'm proud to say this is one of my better creations I have embarked and committed myself to. (Usually, they are forgotten after 3 months.) And this would not be possible without you cheering me on every step of the way.
In conclusion, no matter when you join us, be it 365 days ago or within the last hour, I hope that we will work together and make many more milestones in the years to come!
