Week Thirty-Eight: May 31 - June 4, 2021

Reading:  Students are expected to have an independent reading book throughout the school year.  Plan on reading two-three different grade-appropriate (reading level) novels each trimester.  All novels must be approved.  Students will read their novels 20 minutes independently three times during the week.

    50% for class Zoom participation.

    50% for turning in your exercise log the following Monday by 12:00 noon.

 

PE. 9:35 to 10:05. Follow the above schedule. Check showbie to get the zoom link.

Exercise log will be entered into a google form by the following Monday by 12:00 noon. They will get this form in Showbie.

Homework log example for new schedule:

 List what exercise you did on your PE days. You will also list the day       you had art.  

    Monday: Zoom Session.

    Tuesday: Shot baskets for 20 minutes.

    Wednesday: Jogged around the neighborhood for 20 minutes.

    Thursday: Art.

    Friday: Exercised to a video for 20 minutes.

Do the following assignment on the days when you do not have your Zoom lesson:

    Stretching warm-up routine. 10 second count.

       Right forward lunge heel down. Left forward lunge heel down.

       Right forward lunge heel up. Left forward lunge heel up.

       Feet together, touch your toes.

       Feet apart and to the right.

       Feet apart and to the left.

       Chicken wing right arm. Chicken wing left arm.

       Deodorant check right arm. Deodorant check left arm.

       Butterfly.

       Back stroke.

  Endurance: Make sure you write this  in your exercise log.

       20 minutes of continuous exercise. 

Office hours: 1:00 to 2:30 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Check showbie for the zoom link.
