Only 120 More Days Until Christmas
I was done with shopping, even though the mega mall was never closed, a luminous cruise ship sailing nowhere. The cars went on forever, parked nose to butt on what looked like the test bed of an atomic blast. A throng of people stood indolently on the corner, watching two soldiers roll dice upon a crimson robe. They were waiting for a bus that left last Thursday. There were no pay phones anywhere.
