it cheers me

just to see

the Apple logo

go round.

Sometimes

it’s red, sometimes

green.

Sometimes it’s

split-open white,

like

a spirit’s hand.

All life-affirming

hues.

I can stare at

it and

remember

how not to think

too much,

in its whirling

blackness,

how to give,

yes, peace a chance.
