During the weekend of July 3rd and 4th, 2015 there will be many special events going on in addition to the display, here is a schedule of events:
FRIDAY JULY 3RD
7:00 PM The Coasters will perform at the Landes Arts Center!
Cost is only $10.00 to see this wonderful performance.call 304-257-1725 for info.
Tickets are at the Petersburg Town office, Judy's Drug Store, and the Grant Co. Parks and Recreation Office.
The display 50's Classics, Diners, Poodle skirts, & Cars will be open for enjoyment at the Landes Arts Center before and after the concert!
SATURDAY JULY 4TH
9:00 AM There will be a special display of pictures and other items from the Grant Co. Historical Society at the old Grant County Courthouse.
10 AM - 3 PM Car show (free T shirts and dash plaques)
10:15 AM Parade Line up (Tri Co. Fairgrounds)
11:00 AM (from Fairgrounds - Virginia Ave - S Main Street - to the City Park)
12:00 Flag Ceremony
12:00 Inflatable playground equipment free for kids
12:25 PM Alan Yokum WELD
12:30 Pony Rides
12:30 "The Fabulous Hubcaps" City Park Stage FREE
12:45 Horseshoe Contest (singles and doubles)
1:00 FREE Swimming at the City Pool (all day)
(Big splash and Diving Contests with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes)
2:00 "The Fabulous Hubcaps" City Park Stage FREE 2nd concert!
3 PM - 5:00 PM 50's Classics, Diners, Poodle skirts, & Cars will be open for enjoyment at the Landes Arts Center FREE!
4:00 - 6:00 PHS Homecoming at the Old Post Office downtown Petersburg. Free Drinks
All former PHS students welcome (free T shirts, plus prizes)
8:00 PM "Jason D. Williams" - A Tribute to Jerry lee Lewis - PHS Football field - FREE Concert
9:45 Huge fireworks display after the show
Food and vendors will be available all day on the grounds
