interview for formal and final posting to your page.
Interview two high school Administrators
Ask about them first:
Their education and teaching, coaching leadership experiences and background
Tell them a little about about you and your educational experiences.
Then focus on high school issues:
High school initiatives in their school, in their district
Issues they are dealing with now:
Social
Safety
Diversity
Bilingual
Criminal
Safety
Economic
Religious
As administrators what types of changes have they experienced over the years?
Anything else that is important for you to know about high schools now?
Include your own questions. These are just a guide for you.
Be curious, professional and do not take up more than your allotted interview time.
Send a thank you note following your interview, thanking them for their time and expertise.
Interview 2 high school Support Staff
(Secretary, counselor, librarian, custodian, cook, bus driver)
Garnering their perspective is a valuable way of understanding the rest of the high school drama.
Ask them about working in the high school; what they have noticed over the years; what are their insights and ideas about how students are; and how things can improve.
