Curriculum

1. Math- Go Math Textbook

In addition to laptops for additional enrichment and support. Students can support their learning at home by accessing Think Central with their username and password (taped onto their homework planner).

2. Reading - Ready Gen

Choice Boards as well as differentiated lessons to ensure that all learners are achieving success.

3. Writing - Teacher's College Reading and Writing Project. The children will work on these major components: Narrative, Realistic Fiction, Informational and Persuasive Writing.

4. Social Studies - Passport Social Curriculum written by New York City to enhance the Common Core Curriculum. Trips will enhance their overall learning experience.

5. Science - Three times a week using Amplify in addition to hands on STEAM projects in the class.

6. STEAM is a hands on project based learning where the children work cooperatively in groups to construct an experiment.

7. Social Emotional Learning helps students become emotionally intelligent and learn different ways to become aware of their emotions while also regulating them to become the best students they can be in the classroom.

8. Computer Science for All gives the students an opportunity to explore basic understanding of computer science concepts, vocabulary and experiences such as programming.
