K12 pilot (2010)

Over the course of a year, K12 students met with me and worked on different virtual applications. We started with the Mall of the Universe, my brainchild since the students could create and sell objects and items, learning geometry, economics, mathematics and virtual building; the students joy since they could have fun, challenge, and creativity while they worked. Below are links to a slide presentation of their work and to a page that contains YouTube and demonstrations of their efforts during the pilot year.

The pilot culminated in a virtual science project where students researched their favorite part of the Rocky Mountains and created a game that would serve as an "action adventure." The students presented this game to an audience of other students and to teachers. Students were eager learners; the only challenge was to focus them.
