We have spent the last 8 months, meeting every Monday to figure out: barriers for communication, goals and benefits of communication, needs to address that communication. We have dug deeply into organization politics and organization behavior, determined a strategy around building value, carefully and with consideration to enhance the experience of the students, and improve working conditions and collaborative processes for building a future worth fighting for.
The final piece was to begin to build relationships with the board member, to help improve the vision that we have for ourselves and how to make a fascinating and productive future, that benefits the organization and the personal goals for each student.
