TECH INTERVIEWS & JOB DUTIES
What are we looking for?
Independent project managers that will work together, problem solve, think creatively, and take assigned tasks from start to finish.
IMPORTANT DATES
Informational Meeting for Techs and Parents: August 28th at 6pm in the auditorium.
Interviews are Thursday, September 7th at 4pm
You MUST attend the Tech Parent Meeting on August 28th at 6pm to get all of the information!

Five minutes of your time.
Purpose: To demonstrate commitment to our process; for us to get to know you and your work ethic; to find a place on tech crew that suits your talents.
Be prepared to tell us which tech role you think would be best for you! (The jobs will be presented at the meeting.)
JOB DUTIES & ROLES
Tech Crew Job Duties:
Attend two out three scheduled tech sessions to prove competency and develop greater skills. i.e. Basic Tech Skills, Lighting, Rigging, etc. These skills will be tested! This schedule is forthcoming.
Specific tech roles will be assigned after these tech sessions.
Attend mandatory set strike. (Saturday evening following the show.)
Attend Saturday work days. (January-Showtime)
Attend mandatory dress rehearsals for the run of the show.
Be hands-on at all rehearsals, work days, and strike - this is not play time!
Attend your assigned rehearsals specific to your given tech roles.
Complete “tech checklist” according to your given tech role at each work day, rehearsal, and show.
Part-Time Tech Roles (TIMES SPECIFIED):
Work-Day/Art Tech (Saturdays ONLY.)
Set-Building Tech (Saturdays and Some Evenings.)
Tech/Ensemble (Audition and Interview Required.)
Run-Crew Tech (Saturdays and the Mandatory Dates.)

“One Minute of Fame” Definition
In the one big dance scene, be a guest in a scene to adorn the scene or join one of the dances or sing ensemble for one of the songs. You work hard on all these aspects you should enjoy being in the show you work hard on. It’s great to surprise family when you come out in a scene. We will discuss options throughout the run of the show.
