Review Criteria

    • Scenario balance considers the design balance, without regard to a game's luck or player balance.

    • Luck is the side favored by the dice goddess, if any. This considers hot/cold dice, high-value KIA, key SW malf., etc.

    • Player rates the relative balance including rules knowledge, tactical experience, scenario familiarity.

      • Training games record a trainer is '5' and trainee is '1'.

    • Variant (Var), if applicable.

Measurement

    • Scale is 1 to 5, with '1' a strong Allied advantage, '3' balanced and '5' a strong Axis advantage.

    • The scale is either 'Balanced', '+' or '++' with each indicating the win record in the database.

    • The measurement is based on 'Squad Leader Survey' with a change in scale from '1 to 3' to '1 to 5'.1

    • a 'balanced' scenario yields no wider split than 60/40.2
